For Sale: PowerTap SL+ 32h DT Swiss R450 wheel, incl Cervo and extras

UPDATE – 25 April 2013: SOLD

UPDATE  - 22 April 2013: Original buyer fell through so its still available.  Happy to separate the wheel and electronics/extras.  If interested please contact me to discuss a suitable price.

Having recently purchased a Quarq I no longer have any need for my PowerTap SL+ wheel.   This wheel has just come back from the Australian service centre where it was recalibrated, so the torque is perfect at 512!

Asking price: $800 ONO

The wheel is obviously used (by me and several of my coached riders over the last two years) but is still in good condition.  The rim and hub could use a little clean and the stickers are a touch frayed but the wheel is true and the braking surface has lots of life left in it. The free hub body has some of the typical marks from where the cassette bites (see images below) but these have been smoothed as much as possible and do not impact the operation of the PowerTap hub. The free hub is splined for Shimano but I will include the Campy one as well. These can be changed quite quickly so you get full flexibility for your own choice of group set to use with this wheel.

What’s included:

  1. PowerTap SL+ hub laced to DT Swiss R450 rim, 32h with black spokes. 15mm axle
  2. PowerTap ANT+ Cervo computer (NB: the PowerTap is ANT+ so this will work with a Garmin or other ANT+ compatible bike computer)
  3. Stem/handlebar mount for Cervo
  4. Download cradle
  5. Software (PowerAgent) CD
  6. Spare Campy free hub body No longer included as its a 12mm axle freehub and doesn't fit the current wheel

Nb: There is no skewer or heart rate strap included with this item.

The wheel is boxed in the same box and packing I received it in from the service centre and will be sent via Courier or can be picked up from Canberra.  To get an accurate quote on the courier costs please contact me at with your postcode.
