Items For Sale – August 2014

Update: 27 August – New items added and all remaining items moved to the top.  Some prices updated as well.

I am clearing out some items which I no longer have any use for.   All prices are marked next to the item, however I wont refuse any reasonable offers.

I can be contacted on 0437972768,  jasonm.home@gmail.com or argonaut.cycling@gmail.com

Limar Chrono TT Helmet – 53-59cm.    The Limar Crono is an in-Mould helmet with low weight and fantastic finish. Internal air vents channels provide good air-flow without affecting the aerodynamics. Its compact design offers the typical aerodynamic advantages when keeping a low position on the bike, while it generates less wind resistance when the riding position is changed or when you are out of the saddle, which typically happens when one gets tired at the end of a race. The helmet has Limar’s Super System retention for quick and easy size adjustment which is easily accessible with one hand. Note: Helmet has Aus standards approval (see third pic for sticker) = $30 (sold)

Mavic Disc Wheel – 10spd with 12-23 Shimano cassette.  This is one of the fastest disc you can get and with the allow braking surface you don’t need to worry about changing your brake pads over.  Comes with a Conti Competition tubular (23mm in good condition).    Also comes with a wheel bag, disc pump adapter and a 10spd Campag freehub – which can be used to convert it from the Shimano setup.  = $650 (sold)

Mavic Tri-spoke – Extremely rare Mavic tri-spoke.  Comes with Vittoria Crono Evo CS Tubular tyre and valve adapter.  Tri-spokes make the fastest all-round front wheel for time trials and are especially good in cross winds.   The wheel is in good condition although there is a minor crack in the coating near the bearing housings (See second picture), however this is not a structural problem as the hub/axle system is actually an alloy insert.  $200 (sold)

(Note: Will sell both wheels as a set for $800)

The 500’s also include a three position stop - an internal adjustment ‘coin’ can be flipped and rotated for precise cable release tuning.  (note these are not the return to centre model) = $50 (sold)
